A routine release of an adult male orangutan takes a dangerous turn as the enraged primate turns on his release team.

Though it seems hard and ungrateful it really is the best that could happen, demonstrating these individuals are ready for and should be released in the wild. Wishing all of them the best of luck and happiness in their new freedom.

Jerry must have had an especially traumatic history with cages alone.
Keep in mind all of these orangutan babies have trauma in their first years out of 60.😔

looks like normal peaceful human behavior to me. Mate got upset about being in a cage, showed them and then tried to free his own. Mad respect

I mean it's a pretty good thing to get into right as you're being released, I feel like that one is probably going to be the boss of that group and he'll probably do a fine job.
