I had an American red tabby cat that was a big 20 pounder. He was gentle sweetie. He acted like a dog, too. My family adopted him from a stray in mid November to early March 1994. He became my best friend when the first time that I meant him from a stray in late September 1981. I had a very special bond with this cat. I was the only person to pet his belly laying on my belly for long periods of time. He was sweet to the other family members and even friends with the 1st cat, too.

I adopted "Smokey Joe" a Norwegian Forest Cat from the North Kansas City cat shelter Dec. 2020. Snow white with 2 perfectly symmetrical Nike Swooshes around base of both ears.
@ 7-years-old & 17 pounds he'd been there longer than any animal. Rejected & returned multiple times. Strongest cat I've ever seen. *MEAN!* I'm not scratched, I'm scared.
Flawless wall-to-wall carpet < 5-years-old. Now permanent carpet wrinkles all over the house. He can lift it.
Under the bed, wouldn't come out. Gave him a little broom treatment. *I SWEAR TO GOD* he yanked the broom out of my hands and stood his ground. SERIOUS BAD ASS CAT!

I have a 33lb cat. She is on a strict diet but her weight never went down. The vet says she’s healthy, just overweight.

Hi everybody just a littel more on Siberian cats I have had 2 boys and a girl they are very cuddly and compassionate they love all people kids and adults I highly suggest.

how about foxes and predator birds?! what cat breed can handle be wild life best if one got it as an outside-inside cat 20%-80% at the countryside?!
I had a Russian blue that was huge and came wild to our cottage house when it was 4-6 months old... it could live for a month alone hunting and getting access to the lawn where we had a heating lamp, a really cozy cave for him with water and food for a month when we were back in the city... He learned to fight off foxes, predators of all sorts and other cats... but now I really like to try a new and a really large cat breed!
Maybe some breeds' fur makes those cat breeds look larger than the a russian blue!?
-What cat breeds can you strength exercise and feed best compared to other breeds to make it really strong and able to handle itself as a good hunter living both inside and outside on the countryside!?
The Russian Blue had no issues with handling the Swedish Winters either... But now we really like a larger breed and a serious athletic hunter as our next cat! 😻what breeds to look into?! thanks
