One thing with mining is consumer gpus are not clocked for efficiency out of the box. And on top of that a 3070 is just a more effecent design than an higher tier gpu.

But lets just use the 3090 as a example it can do 120mh on eth at just less than 300w. When clocked for efficiency.

Quite a big difference from 450w for 110mh

Although if properly used I feel like apple silicone would be very efficent.

That 3090 is pretty poor for mining. A pair of 3080 would do 180+ at 450w

I spend 200, 000 on 3060ti n 3070 for mining n paid them off in 5month of mining n made even more . Resold before mining went down n still made 2x the MSRP i got them at .

Sadly the Netherlands isn't the best for mining. Power usually id around 23 eurocents per kwh

The average on my MB Pro M1 Max 32 GPU Cores is roughly 10.3 Mh.

nowadays and with the cost of electricity especially in NYC and living in an apt, mining is kind of imposible, I think unless you can use Solar power or something like that with the mining rigs or GPU's, or you live in a place where is cold all the years, or lastly, power efficient things like the apple M chips, but with software that trully uses its true potential, that would be the real only way to mine now. I might give a try with my new pc with a 3090, just to check if I really could gain something after electricity bills, but as I see it, I doubt it.
