Credited on the label as The Crickets (leaving his own name out was Buddy Holly's ploy to get records played more often by US DJs) it peaked at #4 in the UK charts and #17 in the US in 1958. It was recorded at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma along with three other tracks in the early hours of the morning. Later that same night, Buddy performed live at the Oklahoma City Auditorium.
