Being an introvert and having bad communication skills are different
Sheldon is a perfect example of an Introvert but can talk to anyone...

I’m an introvert. I learned how to really speak because I had to lecture for college courses. The best advice I can give is to mimic how news anchors speak. Just repeat what they do using the tone and cadence that the use. Another big thing is preparation. You’ll get better over time, but you need to be able to stream the words to your mouth in realtime without thinking about it so much. Preparation helps greatly with this.

I appreciate the fact that you chose green color for introvert to make it seem “right”. This will help a lot of introverts to understand that there is nothing wrong with it.

love your videos, the *how to listen when someone is having a problem whom u care about* video, was enlightening -- i was actually able to not provide a solution and understood more what the issue meant to them and why it was hurtful and why they reached out

it was like an entire human appeared where previously i would have just interjected. so thank you, they were dealing with some really tough issues and i feel like i was able to be a much better friend and hold space for them

just thank you, please keep making content 🥺😌

I've seen so many great examples of introverted speakers with presence.

They don't maximize technique. They employ authenticity.

Robert DeNiro.
Ryan Gosling.
Clint Eastwood.
Johnny Depp.

Not necessarily the grandest of speakers, but incredibly charming and engaging.

I've always considered my self introverted however i feel that the term "introverted" just makes making friends and socializing harder than it should be. I recently tried telling myself im not introverted over and over again in my head and sometimes out loud when im alone, and i have noticed a small but significant change in my behavior.
Ofcourse i also pushed myself into uncomfortable situations and tried thinking about and doing social things but just this "simple" mindset shift seemed to really help me.

This guy looks like he has some Asian Heritage which immediately makes me think that he's smarter than I am which is a good reason that I'm going to listen to him

being selective...hm it feels like introversion is not helpful and less a choice to not be extraverted. And that's okay. introverts see different, we just need to learn to speak different to properly convey what we see. Yet our introversion comes of as meek, so that's why it's necessary to learn how to speak and be attention grabbing ❤️ thank u gorgeous!

Exactly. I feel people heavily mistake introversion/extroversion as some sort of socializing skills. It's not. Introversion/Extroversion is a cognitive mode for a preference on how you expend energy. And It's not only exclusive to socialization, it's a mode that persists in things that involve decisions and values. So really, it's more of a trait than a skill.

On the other hand, the ability to speak and communicate is a skill. Yes, there may be advantages to being an extrovert, but again it's not an exclusive thing. It's more of an influence of circumstance and circumstance is rarely the same for everyone. An introvert could learn how to speak effectively as well as an extrovert can, and an extrovert can be poor at presenting themselves as much as an introvert is. Introversion/Extroversion can answer who you are as a person but they will not speak for how you communicate
