Caoimhin is a great lad and a superb keeper. He's done LFC proud whenever he's been called upon. He deserves regular first-team football. I'd love him to stay but he deserves to be the first-choice, week-in, week-out. The news was that he was going to Celtic in the summer. I don't know what happened (whether terms couldn't be agreed, or whatever), but they signed Kasper Schmeichel to replace Joe Hart. Schmeichel is ten years older than Caoimhin and perhaps was signed as a short-term solution. I'm sure Caoimhin would love to play for Celtic and he deserves to be with a really big club. Let's hope he gets the move befitting his talent.
