She literally explained that some people use this process for their own superficial reasons eg. hair type, eye colour etc. Meaning the baby was manufactured to fit your beauty standards and wasn’t necessarily the “Gift” you’ve been struggling to have.

I bet she comprehends that there are people who use this method as a means of having a baby they are struggling to have.

But in this scene she’s clearly speaking about the latter. And this just shows that people not liking or understanding you equals to them jumping to conclusions about every single thing you say or do.
