A number of factors can raise the risk of developing cracked heels, including obesity, wearing open-heel footwear such as sandals, and having cold, dry skin.

Dr. MY I have a question? I hope it's not a stupid question. In the beginning of the video you used a tool like a dremmel on her heel and it appeared to be a discoloration in her skin that the dremmel smoothed away. Was that some type of stain?
