Laminar Flow mystery

Показать описание
#shorts
I have always enjoyed laminar flow, but came across something strange. When slowly changing the flow of water faster to slower a strange lifting effect occurs right before the "bubble" breaks and becomes smaller. My thought are that this is occurring due to the surface tension of water or the cohesion of the water molecules to each other. As the laminar bubble gets smaller the cohesion causes this strange reaction. Any other thoughts on why this might be occuring?
