Hogan never misses an opportunity to explain why he's better than everybody else.

At the end of the day, I’m siding with Mick. He gave everything to business, not to get himself over, but to make what he loved better. Also Mick’s not a racist, pretentious, habitual liar

Ironically, Mick is in better shape now than Hogan. Hogan's workout ethic is better, yes...but he also used steriods a lot and barely "worked" in his matches, doing as little as possible while depending on looks and showmanship to get by. He politiced and manipulated matches to go his way. He rarely had matches in the end because his spine and back were so badly damaged he could barely bend...and they looked awful.

Mick was not in as good of physical shape, but his cardio was beyond belief. His stamina and durability were ten times Hogan, and he was deceptively fast and strong. He put as much as he could into each match, which was sadly his weakness...because he often put too much into them. He overworked himself at points simply to give the fans more.

The difference wasn't workouts. The difference was knowing how much to give in the ring. Hogan did too little, Foley did too much.

Hogan is just sore that on the night of the Fingerpoke of Doom, 600, 000 people tuned away from him winning yet another world title, and instead switched over to watch Mick Foley, the deathmatch schmuck who was genuinely beloved by the fans, win his first championship.

You remember how much weight Hogan lost when he first got off steroids?

Foley doesn't look like a typical athlete, but you don't hear stories about him getting gassed thirty seconds into a match like Ultimate Warrior. You don't hear stories about him injuring people because he couldn't hit his marks.

"not so hard, not so fast" what a fuckin line 😂

I think Mick has even said that the extra weight he was carrying helped him take all those bumps over the years. A little extra cushioning.

The only Hulk Hogan matches I watch are the ones where he loses. I know it's scripted, but still. I like watching his massive ego take the hit. You could literally pick any Mick Foley match or promo out of thin air and be entertained. Know why? It's because there's no ego there. THAT'S the difference between a Mick Foley and a Hulk Hogan.

That not so fast and not so hard line was hardcore. Also the line about being embarrassed with your friends while watching a hogan match lol

As a fan I would rather watch any match of Mich Foley's than Hulk Hogan's career for career wether he was Cactus Jack, Mankind, Dude Love, or just Mick Foley every time he was in that ring he made sure the fans had a like long memory of his matches

I would bet anything that Hogan has never seen a Foley match

This may not a popular opinion, but Hogan showing up on TV or PPV used to be my signal to go for a piss break and grab another drink.
It was always the same, either a 3 minute match where he got his ass kicked for 2 minutes and then he "Hulked up", hit the punches, Irish whip, big boot, leg drop, pin, five minutes of hotdogging and grandstanding and finally the end of the show, or when he was in the nWo, cutting 20 minute nonsensical promos with no direction whilst half of the active roster stand around the ring in matching black nWo shirts trying to look interested.
This isn't to say that I've never enjoyed a Hogan match, but if you've seen one, you can rule out about 99% of the other ones.
We all know that Foley was never a body guy, but his in ring work was always excellent.

Hogan hasn't wrestled a match since the 70s. He's strutted around the ring and asked his brother (of whom he seems to have many) if they know something. Oh, and rip his pre-ripped tank top. Can't forget that. Thank you, Hulkster, for putting your hand to your ear and flexing. You saved wrestling.

Mike Landsberg was the best when it came to interviews like this. It's nice to see little clips pop up here and there
