Don't forget to try the fried chicken from 7/11 and Family Mart! Both so good. And I recommend grabbing some Melon pan. Same as alot of these konbini staples, simple but so amazing.

Onigiri is the rice ball! Whether it’s wrapped in nori, has filling or not, etc, it’s still onigiri!
I hope you get to try grilled onigiri, they baste it with soy sauce and ugh it gets crunchy salty umami it’s so good!!!

You MUST try curry pan before you leave!! It’s like a deep fried bread with Japanese curry in the middle. Pure heaven 🤤

They have these boiled salted eggs at 7/11 that i was addicted to in japan. So simple but its a perfectly salted jammy egg😍

As an American, I am insanely jealous of Japanese and Korean 7-11 stores! Most convenience store food is questionable at best in the US 😂

As a Japanese I’m so happy that you are enjoying the Japan and all the foods!
If have a chance please try the “make your own smoothie” at the 7-11. I never tried it before so I love to hear what you think about it! Also don’t forget to try the hot snacks by the register! All the Japanese convenience stores are known for the hot snacks!

We like to take famichiki or similar and put it in between the pancakes. Best pancake chicken sandwhich thing EVER.

I feel like the vibe I’ve gotten from Japan/neighbors are that mayo is a flavor. Like mayo flavored chips, mayo as a condiment, etc. I think they just love mayo! So checks out that the tuna mayo would mayo heavy
