The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated existing inequalities of income and opportunities in society. It has also impacted the existing work-life balance.

"Let's redefine work" - Richard Nattoo, Jamaica-born artist and illustrator, participated in one of three Dialogue Sessions on equitable recovery, hosted by UNESCO and The University of the West Indies, to rethink work-life systems and the 9am - 5pm workday model to strengthen well-being, inclusion and social cohesion.

The three dialogue sessions which put the spotlight on (Re-)engaging Youth, Reimagining Work-Life Systems and (Re)imagining Socio-Economic Recovery, were a platform for exchange of different ideas on how to create a new social contract that ensures fairer public policies, more robust social protection systems and inclusive and equitable solutions in the Caribbean.

UNESCO & UWI developed a knowledge tool to help formulate more equitable and inclusive policies for a more sustainable recovery from COVID-19.
