Coasting noise from an Alfine 8 hub practically new

Preload is to high, only should be finger tight. Bearing and race potentially damaged from excessive preload. Wheel should spin 15x min without stopping.

My Alfine 8 has kind of same noise while coasting. I took apart and clean it. I put new grease but it still with noise. I dont know if it is bearing issue.

Water and rust. Dont wash with high pressure!

Maybe you're speed hube is to tight, meening it's sqacht together where there is no roam for free spin
