This interview acquired by Sky News and never seen before is one of the last Alexei Navalny would give while in full health.

A few months later the Russian opposition leader was poisoned before his three years in jail and then death in an Arctic labour camp.

So who was the man that fought the Russian state and refused to stay silent?

He is right regarding the West stance, let’s admit it for once. We are either naive or greedy about the oligarchs money. We all know it

There is little doubt of his remarkable courage as there is no doubt about the validity of his remarks about the UK.

I completely agree with Navalny.
Everyone with a brain knows that London is the best place in Europe to launder money, and it's possible to sell anything to the highest bidder.
Plus it's literally given oligarchs access to our parliament.
What a lost opportunity for Russia and Europe.
Rest in power, Alexei. 💔

Yes, about the West, he is absolutely right. Hypocritical behaviour. May he be free in the eternal universe and keep on influencing the free thinkers of the world!

It's unfortunately always about money and never about morality.

UK sanctions on anyone now is just laughable. So much time has passed for them to shift assets around and wouldn't expect prison staff to have assets in reach of the uk gov.

It seems like the title is misleading, suggesting he is attacking the west in some way.

He spoke about how Russian politicians can purchase influence in Britain and the West with impunity.

he looked so powerful and good, then they destroyed his health, but not his spirit.

He's not wrong. British politicians and London money men have spent years enabling Putin.

He was a true patriotic man and just wanted a better democratic Russia. He risked his life for Russia and Russian people and died for his country. Russian people are in huge debt to Navalny.

Navalny has a very good point. London is culpable in Russia’s corruption!

He has shown himself to be much more of a man than Putin, who continues to hide like a little coward. Navalny is very admirable to give his freedom and life for what he believes and knows. Putin would never do that as he is ann insecure and scared little person.

Like Belgravia, known as "Moscow on the Thames" and London's "Red Suare" where Oligarchs like Oleg Deripaska invest in multi million homes...the neighborhoods which have forced wealthy Londoners out of prime post codes.

😔 Navalny was so right about UK and US. Though we need to do better, current Conservatives are more interested in controlling women's body and life than dealing with corrupt men in politics.

Like Napoleon Bonaparte said, England is a nation of shopkeepers!

It breaks my heart that such a wonderful man, Alexei Navalny has been murdered by the butcher Putin and his enforcers. I can not fathom the depth of grief Alexe's family and close friends are feeling at this most devastating time.

RIP to this man. It takes great courage to stand up to corrupt governments like this.

The UK has been shown to condone the actions of Putin and as described, has chosen to be ineffective at tackling officials based over here.
