Fox Blocks at Kayden's Place - Part 1

In this Fox Blocks video we move away from the normal ICF projects and cover a landscaping project. Using Fox Blocks for landscaping is becoming more common than you would think. This includes pools, retaining walls, water features, rock walls etc. In Part 1 we show the backstory on why we are doing this as well as the assembly of the Fox Blocks formwork.
In the next videos in this series we will cover concrete placement, shotcrete, vertical concrete carving, coloring and finishing of a special project for a boy named Kayden.

I saw a video yesterday of a guy building a pool with the styrofoam blocks, not sure if they were fox bloks but he was making very dramatic curves by cutting one inch sections out of the block from top to bottom in several places then on the back side of the block he made cuts from top to bottom but not all the way through. Then reinforced it with thin plywood and screws. Pretty genius I thought

Real cool. Now if fox would be able to get us contractors our orders maybe we could build stuff too. 8 weeks and still nothing. I like the product but fox could not care less about us small guys trying to keep things afloat.
