So the character is surrounded by its childhood by choice or because it is the only thing they have access to that informs them of themself (the perpetual dropping and fishing up of the photo) and is only strictly curious or preoccupied with its own life in those parameters. It gets sick because it ate a booger that came from its nose interrupting its cells carrying nutrients as seen by cherries mainly. It then wakes up ill and the visuals get more abstract. Im going to read the eating of the booger as filling the body or mind up with thoughts of the self, or an obsession with self validation but this is what leads to the sickness.


The character is told to go to an religious building (i thought i saw a cross so i assumed it was a church at first) and enters a room with various religous symbols, mostly i just see the golden bull, but is scared by it ir considers it hostile. It then goes back angry and identifies itself with the dog, and the dog is wearing a bell like a sheep or a cow which are again animals considered signficiant in religions, but inversed since a dog is like a wolf, but recognised the kindness in the animal and pets it. So it finds value in a symbol contrary to religion.

Then it approaches the (i forgot the word) pavillion of a sphinx = a question and a hand emerges prompting them. They accept and have to delete their old memories and is then presented with a cherry that they eat, in a background with many people. So i see this as the process of the internalization of new belief or philosphy, a seperation from self obsession, the difficulty in approaching religion as a philosphy and finding value in the everyday rather than in the institutions of religion.

This is a really beautiful short film by the way. Absolutely gorgeous i love the atmosphere. I love how the whole thing is expressed in terms of the internet and computers especially, but i cant specifically put my finger on why.
