Lars Gullin (1928-1976) Silhouette Göran Söllscher guitar

One of my ideas with this channel is to present music that many of you might not have heard or a new version of a piece that you might have heard,but then in it’s original shape.
Lars Gullin was a Swedish jazz musician and composer. One of his most beloved pieces is
Silhouette.
In 1976,shortly after his death,I took part in a memorial concert in honour of him.
This beautiful piece has followed me ever since.

Thanks Göran for this! Lars Gullin Maestro on Barytonsax. Like you, one of the greatest on his instrument. Can feel the scandinavian melancolic in his music, like Jan Johansson. My first LP of you (still got it) is Maybe your first from 1981. Göran Söllscher With Cavatina and others. Got Greensleeves to and Vivaldi records and when you play The Beatles.
