Math concepts for the ACT® test | Pythagorean Theorem

In this video we discuss the Pythagorean Theorem. This theorem states that the relationship of the sides of a right triangle is a^2+b^2=c^2. A squared plus B squared equals C squared. If you are given two sides of a right triangle you can find the third side using this formula. We go through a couple examples where you need to find a leg of a triangle and another example where you need to find the hypotenuse. Then we cover and example ACT®/SAT® problem.
