In this video we discuss the topic of Complex Numbers also called Imaginary Numbers. You get a complex number when you take the square of a negative number. We assign the square root of -1 to be i. I squared is equal to -1. This video briefly goes over a background of complex numbers then goes through example ACT® Math problems that involve complex numbers. Remember to watch all the way to the end so you are familiar with different types of questions that you might find on the exam.
