The Ellen MacArthur Foundation has been awarded £400,000 by People's Postcode Lottery players to support its work to accelerate the transition to a circular economy. In contrast to today's outdated, take-make-dispose industrial model, a circular economy aims to design out waste and pollution, keep products and materials in use, and regenerate natural systems.
