"Jim Campilongo was born in San Francisco, CA on July 8, 1958. At 9 years of age Campilongo discovered The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix through his two sisters. He became very interested in improvisation saying in one interview, "I knew I liked improvisation and long musical journeys...so I used to buy albums based exclusively on how long the tracks were.... Thank you, Nuno, for posting this! I met the owner of Blue Hen Records at a party in San Francisco many moons ago and we talked about music. He gifted me two albums from a guitarist on his label named Jim Campilongo. I have one of them, but lost this one... the one that had "Splitsville" and "Blue Hen" on it. So effing disappointed about that, but now I found your video here and also saw that the entire album is available on Amazon. Will be purchasing it, but thanks for this in the interim!
