NISHIKA N8000 3D Gif Film Camera Easy Teardown + Repair

Hey whats up guys!

Today Ill be starting off my Nishika n8000 series where I bought a few broken / not fully functioning n8000 cameras and troubleshooting all problems you may be having with yours. I'm continuing to make videos on full repairs and modifications you can do to your camera to get the best use out of it, while taking you through a step by step tear-down of the unit. I have two or three more in-depth guides coming soon on further issues such at batteries not working and will also be doing a series on the flash and repairing that.

I am currently in the process of ordering a replacement part for it and was hoping you can offer some insight on how to repair that effectively!

hey Spencer, any tips on how to get access to the shutter mechanism? I bought a n8000 recently from a swap meet for cheap and it turns on but doesn't open the shutter when the trigger is depressed. thanks!

Hello Spencer, Just bought a used one. batteries were corroded did a mild clean up of the terminals put in new batteries but no lights/indicators coming on. the other problem is the film advance lever on top is stuck wont move.

I pulled some of the solder connections out while taking off the top plate on my camera. Do you have any documentation of the wiring on the top?

Thanks for this video! Looking forward for the other ones. By any chance have you repaired the Nishika Twin Light Flash? I just bought one, and it had batteries inside that were corroded. I did my best at cleaning the battery compartment with vinegar and qtips to the point I can't see any corrosion, but whenever I put the batteries on, the flash doesn't work. All it happens is that when it's turned on, if you put the flash near your ear, I can hear a little humming sound. I'm thinking it might not be fully cleaned, since the springs at the bottom of the battery compartment are not that easy to clean without taking the flash apart. Basically I wanted to know if you had any experience opening the flash, because I only see a two screws in the outside body. Thanks!

Hey Spencer! Me again with another question. I haven't used my Nishika yet, but the problem I have now, is that I can't get the film back to open. When I first got the camera I was able to open it, but know I can't. After reading the manual, I now know that there's a small button on the bottom of the camera that you are supposed to push before unwinding the film. When I first got the camera the button was working, but know, after pushing it a couple times, it seems to be stuck. Also, I don't know if this is a problem, but when I got the camera, and was testing everything, I pushed the film advance lever quite a couple times, and now it reached it's limit. The little display window says "S", and I don't know if i made something go wrong cause I can't push it back again to where it was. Was just wondering if you knew something that could help me fix this. Thanks!

I'm actually having a problem with one that I bought last week. It seems like the shutter button got stuck after a couple of test shots, feels really hard when you press it and it just won't shoot Do you know how I could fix it? I've looked and called everywhere and no one seems to know! :'(

Yo so I bought one of these and the advance lever works fine you can see the inside cylinder moving, but whenever i load film, the lever advances but the cyclinder that rolls the film up doesnt.
