When I played this in front of my Guinea pig, she started to look more confident then scared. She was looking around trying to find where the noise was coming from.! Again Guinea pigs are herd animals. Very social with one another. As you may heard. Since my piggy was alone she thought it was some company. This is another point that they are indeed herd animals.!

my piggy is a lone piggy, and she started freaking out and looking everywhere. she started kissing me so much🥺i need to get her a friend

edit: guys i wrote this around when i got carmela (my guinea pig) and we werent as close as now. i do heavy research on any pet before deciding on if i actually would like to commit to it or not. a few weeks after i attempted to bond carmela and another piggy, but carmela did not want to associate herself with the other piggy (ginger) and made it very clear. i did go through a safe bonding process and thought maybe it was a little rushed so i attempted again and the same result occurred. ginger and carmela never did bond, but carmela and i did. i have done research on lone piggies in specific, and in some cases, if the owner spends enough time with said piggy, then it is possible for the piggy to bond with owner directly. throughout time i have noticed whenever i come home after school or work she will run up to the side of the cage and wait patiently for me to come say hi to her. carmela is happy to be a lone piggy!:)
