People shouldn’t be mad at TK for not putting a tribute show on national tv…why? Because the tv network said “no” and those same people also gotta remember that AEW has tv contract negotiations coming up soon and it would be in TKs best interest to not bite the hand that feeds his company and keep Warner happy.

I hope many people who became fans of the Briscoes through AEW please watch their previous work. Jay will be missed.

I live in Delaware, near Laurel. I never met the Briscoes but know a LOT of people who knew them personally. My wife has a picture with them from when they stopped into a local restaurant where they have a sandwich named after them. They had helped train the chef to compete in a match for some radio station's charity event. Jay meant a lot to the local community, and the grief is palpable here.

Rest in Peace Shad Gasspard, Scott Hall, Don West, Jay Briscoe & everyone else we've lost but particularly lost too soon...

Weird how Warner wouldn’t allow the Bristol tribute because on slurs from a decade ago not just because of the Ezra Miller stuff but didn’t James Gunn DC’s Kevin Feige do something similar back in 2013?

Heartbreaking news to wake up to on Wednesday afternoon
Shame that AEW weren't allowed to do a tribute show on dynamite due to the jay's past comments
I look forward to watching the tribute show
First heard of the name jay briscoe in 2011 but back then I didn't know how to access ring of honor wrestling and at that time I wasn't ready to start watching another company
It wasn't until 2016 when I eventually gave ROH a go
I started collecting the ROH dvds starting with the 2013 events with the first one being a show called a hunt for gold with the main event between the American wolves and the briscoes immediately was hooked
So many awesome matches and so many hours spent watching briscoe promos on ytube
One of my favourite tag teams
He'll be missed

As for the show itself
Thought it was another decent show. Wish I could say more but my head wasn't in the right place while watching the show

Good luck to your royal rumble watch along party next weekend
For what I saw of the clash at the castle watch along seemed like a wonderful time
Hope this one is the same

Jay Briscoe main evented the first ROH show in Toronto which was the first I could go to back in July of 2008. Lance Storm and Kevin Steen were on that card and I remember Jay getting such fan interaction and the gasp my part of the crowd made when he hit a nasty looking Jay Driller. This is a wrestling death that is hitting me much harder than most, I suppose nearly 20 years of watching somebody will get you attached to them as a fan.

Rest in Peace Jay.

I would really like to be showed when did Saraya say AEW wasn’t anything and she’s actually been in places. Really would.

The Briscoes vs Steenerico in 2007 got me into Pro Wrestling.

Jay is in my top 5 all time.

This one has been on my mind since I first saw it on Tuesday. I'm so happy that people remember him so fondly.

The lame Warner Bros stuff is ridiculous

Man you guys say social media backlash but to me I don't ever see twitter bringing out paying customers just people who complain and now because of those same people and warner, a man who gave twenty years to the business will only get a tribute after the crowd is already burnt out from two shows😢

First saw Jay Briscoe in 2015/2016 and he was about to have that epic ROH championship unification match with Jay Lethal at Best in the World.

If we just stop all comments with those 3 entries this will be the most sensible wrestling internet chat ever

I wish I could join you for the RR watchalong, but as I am in Norway it is a bit of a trip to get there. That being said, if you are doing it for MitB as well, I will be there in person.

Dan is the reason I watch Wrestletalk! I croaked at the Jam (that) Jams. They're delicious!

I never knew about any of Jay’s atonement and learning from his past homophobic actions. I hate that I’m just now learning about how much he changed after he’s gone

The Briscoes may have not appeared on TNA but they have appeared on IMPACT Wrestling in 2022 with their run as the IMPACT Tag Team Champions against the Good Brothers, Heath & Rhino and Violent By Design.

Not sure if it was mentioned, but will Quizzlemania also be streamer live? Or recorded and posted later?

So, I know people might not be into this, but I would be pretty into Page joining the BCC. His style might clash, but I just think he needs a change. Serious Hangman is really good, and I think The Dark Order run has run its course, and I'd rather he not rejoin The Elite. The story of his World Title win was breaking away from them, and I think this would be a big step back.

If they end up going for a womens Blood and Guts (AEW Originals vs ex-WWE) then it should come down to the originals being outnumbered 4 against 5 when Kris Statlander returns to even the odds. Not sure how much longer she's going to be out but it feels like a perfect storyline for her to jump into.
