Me queda pendiente estudiar música.
I’ve had to put off developing my affinity for music many times in my life (I was born in 1953). In 2017, after watching videos from Got Talent and The Voice, I thought about taking singing lessons, especially after hearing Nina Kraljic’s interpretation of “Beneath Your Beautiful” in The Voice (she then went on to become the winner of The Voice Croatia). I’d heard other artists perform the same song, but her version moved me like no other had. It wasn’t until after promising an Argentinian singer I met that I would dedicate a song to her if I started taking lessons that I finally decided to do it. I dedicated the song to her on her birthday and uploaded it on YouTube. I thought about uploading more videos after that. Back then, I was right in the middle of retiring. I still continue to upload videos these days, and I try to improve in every aspect possible. I still haven’t started studying music. The critical situations that I’ve been experiencing, which have worsened during the pandemic, have caused me to continue putting it off. However, as I mentioned in my introduction video, I’ve been able to do well so far thanks to the innate musical ability that I inherited from my grandfather. My English is quite poor. I have no issues with pronunciation, but it’s very hard for me to translate. This doesn’t mean that I don’t dedicate enough time to understanding what is being said or conveyed in every song in English before interpreting it. I find it difficult to make music without feeling it, and I do so with absolute dedication and joy.
I hope you enjoy my videos!
