Rotary First Conference of District 2232

The Rotarian year is summarized, plans for future are outlined, leaders are awarded. In Lviv the District 2232 Conference was held. The Rotarian 2016-2017 year was the first one of the district activity, but it was quite resultative. For today Rotary Clubs of Ukraine and Belorus are implementing nine Global Grants, another few Grant projects are in the pipeline. The major tasks for the following Rotarian year, as noted by Ovidiu Kosh, Special representative of President of Rotary International, is an expansion of membership and involvement of youth to Rotarian movement. During the conference the most active Rotarians and Rotary Clubs were recognized by Rotary International and District Governor. Anatoliy Parubets a member of Rotary Club Mykolaiv has got the highest Rotarian “Service above self” Award. Myroslava Novosilska has become “Rotarian of the district of 2016 -2017”, the best Governor Assistants are Vladimir Shaverin, Valeriy Tamkov and Mychaylo Schuschak. The creative association “КOLES TV” was recognized with the special Governor’s Award.
