Four weeks ago I saw this video for the first time and I can't help but admire the vocal harmonies and the musical quality of these artists.

I picked up Exile’s self-titled album which had just been released in 1983, and this was while I was stationed in West Germany at that time. Couldn’t help noticing that the album had been issued by Epic Records, and that a couple of guest musicians included Lee Greenwood and Ricky Skaggs. Then I got to thinking, did Exile go country or something of the sort? Because they had been playing rock music and then a little bit of disco, and they had been at it since 1963! So I played the 1983 album on my stereo and yes, they DID go country and they were fantastic! Forty years later and then some, Exile is still in fine voice and musicianship today. Larry’s Country Diner is blessed to have those Kentucky boys as guests.
