CBC Montreal commercials from September 15, 1997

From "The Story of Bean" and "Mr. Bean on the Town," which is unfortunately incomplete.

Aired over CMBT-TV in Montreal, Quebec, CA.

I figured that I would upload this video the day after "America Day" (4th of July), so that there wouldn't be any incongruities with the country of origin in this video...

Anyway, this is easily one of the rarest recordings in my collection overall, as there isn't much of this network to be found online (or in person, for that matter). To have this is a miracle, honestly, now that I know what I have.

Funniest thing about this is that this came from the same tape as the Nickelodeon 9/13/1997 commercials, which in and of itself contains some very rare footage of the network.

14:49-14:54 So CBC also had "star" ids much like what American TV was doing at the time? (ABC (though they would go with the black-and-white stills the following year), NBC, Fox, CBS, The WB and UPN).
