This Is Halloween Re-Animated!

Over 25 years ago, Tim Burton showed the world his utmost treasured film of all time--The Nightmare Before Christmas, released in 1993 under Touchstone Pictures (now under Walt Disney Pictures)
Halloween and Christmas have collided and it was Jack Skellington who brought those holidays together, hoping to bring laughter, joy, and screams.

Now it's our turn! I, Rae Harrell, the host of This Is Halloween Re-Animated!, have invited in 39 animators to reanimate the opening sequence from the beloved film. It has been over a year and a half in the making and now the wait is over.

Ghosts and ghouls, I say it's time we begun!

I love how Sally is fawning over Jack, then catches herself, quickly glances around to make sure no one saw, and then starts clapping as if it never happened.

My favorites are
1) the singing tree
2) Sally's hair flying away
3) Oogie Boogie in the moon
4) the real monsters near the end of the song
5) Sally at the end with her look at Jack, looking around and then fast also clapping hands
6) the monsters at the end with the creepy version of Spongebob (with his brain) and Bill Cipher

But I appreciate everyone who did a hard job for this video. Congrats to everybody! 👍

I love the animation of Jack rising out of the well - that has always been one of my favourite introductions ever and of course, that shot of sally embarrassingly towards the end
