S.M.S.L. PL100 CD player. Yes... it does gapless playback!

SMSL PL100 CD player does gapless playback when a gapless CD is normally played, either with an external DAC or its internal Cirrus Logic. The gaps only appear when:
-The CD info is not gapless, i.e. a CD-R burned with tracks not using gapless encoding
- You start going forward and backward tracks repeatedly to try the gap point

Apparently you have to play the disc from the beginning with no skipping or fast forwarding to get gapless play.

Ive seen other video who shows its not gapless. Probably in between there was a firmware update ?

any problems with scratching? I had a CD from project with the same mechanism and unfortunately the discs often got scratched. It was hard to insert a disc without new scratches.
