I am writing to you as a CA Final student seeking clarification regarding my exemption in Paper 4, which I received in May 2022. With the transition to the new regime in May 2024, Paper 4 has been converted into a test-based module. I believe that due to my previous exemption in Paper 4, I should be exempt from this test-based module.

Could you please confirm the marks required per subject to clear CA Final Group 1? My understanding is that I need to score a minimum of 40 marks in each subject and achieve an aggregate of 150 marks across all three papers. I would like to note that I claimed the exemption within the timeframe prescribed by the institute. Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Could you please confirm whether my understanding is accurate? This issue is of great concern to me.
