President Biden called on Congress to raise the debt ceiling and warned that some Republican lawmakers wanted to "take the economy hostage." The president also drew criticism from Republicans when he claimed some wanted cuts to Social Security and Medicare.'

What I got from this was that not only is Joe Biden savvy, not only did he play the Republicans, but I felt he enjoyed this and that he fed of the negative energy. It's like Michael Jordan when he was playing in front of a hostile crowd, like let's say, Madison Square Garden; he relished the atmosphere and he fed off the energy on his way to scoring 40 points and leading the Bulls to victory.
