Love this! I was hoping they would make it change model every hunt but this is more subtle and cool. I still wish the Obake would have a chance of a special footprint though (just like their special fingerprint).

I absolutely love this.
Was talking to people I play phasmophobia with (literally yesterday) about how it'd be awesome if the obake's model had a chance to differ between hunts if it wasn't so easily identifiable.
This does exactly that, with you having to be chased for long enough to notice it.

One issue I see with this change, especially for VR players, is that you have to visibly see the ghost for the duration of a hunt in order to pull this off. I only say this because my play style is in VR and I spend as little time letting the ghost see me during a hunt as possible.

Generally, a lot of hunt tests only last a few seconds (Jinn speed up, Phantom or Oni blink, etc.), and then you can evade and flee. For this test you have to stare at the hunting ghost for a while before you get the proof you're looking for. It's good that they provided a tell for Obake zero evidence runs (and further limited Goryo's roaming to help with that as well), and it's rare you'll have to do this (just eliminate the other possibilities first), but at least they put something in. Needing to see the ghost for a while makes the Obake more dangerous.
