Program Notes: This piece is about a relationship with someone that makes you who you are. Whether it's family members, friends, or a significant other, we are all partially defined by the people around us. The expression this dance is based upon is "Lost Without You," meaning without that person or those people, you wouldn't be the same. This piece strives to represent the need for other people in our lives and the importance of human connection and relationships.
