I prefer this to ae 2 simply because this mod makes it way easier to speedrun your storage system and not have to worry about space for a while.

Its not just ae2, it doesn't use channels or require separate multiblocks for autocrafting. It's used in modpacks about as often as ae2 and they're pretty interchangeable.

Powah would be easier and wouldn't be the same for everyone because you could make a solor farm or a reactor, I just like the variety of generation methods

Or, for power, just get Create and Create Crafts & Additions. But the power generation requires Create progression to get, which I know some ppl hate, but it's only like 12 water wheels once you get the materials.

FOR NEWBIES:
Mekanism itself doesn't have power generation so get mekanism generators or opt for powah. Solar flux reborn is cool too but it only has solar panels. I'd recommend getting flux networks fore wireless power transmission

In most packs theres like 50 powet souces if the pack has it use meka

ae2 (or for the ogs, ae1) is many times better. handles the logistical aspect and autocrafting so much better, and is such a must have for any pack. its the og too, it exists on literally almost every version, preferably 1.7 or 1.12, as there are not that many competitors. it just also always works and is so easy once you understand the basics. refined storage is just the small bootleg brother of ae, literally only built for vanilla esc people that have nothing new in their game.
