Nesodden snr gradings - Dec 07 2011

The last grading I do/ oversee before I'd retire from the club after 22 years of dedicated, rewarding, and fun-filled service. The club now led as Chief Instructor by one of my Super Star Original Karate Kids, Erlend Dresskell, 3rd Dan Black Belt. When the current Club President is also another Super Star Original Karate Kid of mine, Line Fauske, 2nd Dan Black Belt, I leave the club with a clear conscience; knowing that the younger generation will take the club to even higher levels of successe. I taught them well to the best of my abilities and understanding of things, as well as life, much in the same manner that I've been taught well by my own teachers.

I dedicate the video to ALL my Karate students at Nesodden from the time we started it all in March, 1989. A further dedication to the people of Nesodden, particularly all the parents and guardians who were mad enough to allow their children to come and play Karate with Sirkus Chilembo, the maddest of them all. The love, care, support, trust, confidence, faith, patience, tolerance, and understanding Nesodden people have offered me over the years are beyond words can describe. I can only work at sharing the experience with other people I meet in all my walks in life, wherever I am, wherever I end up. And, by extension, thank you, Norway! The journey is far from over though...
