This was ridiculously mean and low for the show to do this to Clayton. They could’ve done an interview where we learned more about who he is to get us all hyped for his season. No need for this cruelty. I’ll be tuning in to his season just because they did him so dirty here.

I didnt understand why he was chosen over other guys. But, the mean tweets towards his appearance weren't necessary. He's a handsome guy, probably has a great personality too. Its just that the producers shouldve stuck to their usual format.

It's very smart and desperate. Pull all the mean tweets that don't criticize the real reasons Clayton was chosen and make him react to them to give us sympathy for him. They get to bury the genuine criticism and make him a victim and play their underdog story they designed for him

Like I get it, Clayton wasn't the most ideal candidate, but like he took this better than most people would. At least he agrees Rodney should be a Bachelor. The Santa hug was sweet though.

For the people who are irrevocably committed to sabotaging Clayton Echard's season.
Please see the POIGNANT CAVEAT that is/was his interactions with the children on Michelle, The Bachelorette, season in which he participated.
Clayton wept when the children wrote him a note in appreciation of his time with them, asking for an invite to his wedding, among other things.

I must say I am completely SHOCKED at the negative reaction! Clayton is 100% my type, and in my opinion, he is the HOTTEST bachelor they have ever had! And I am not even a person who is overly focussed on looks - Clayton appears to be humble and kind as well!

If I lived in the USA, I would have definitely applied to be on his season, even though the thought of being on TV makes me cringe!

It's one very lucky lady who will end up with him!
