absolutely 💯 truth. apply just enough for full and even coverage and that's it. also waiting too long after application is another mistake most make. they think that the longer it stays on the surface the longer it'll last but that's not true. most of these new coatings bond to the clean dry clear coat in seconds so there's no need to wait 5 10 minutes before wipe off. 1 minute is more than enough time for it to bond. whatever you wipe off is only the solvent left on the top layer. get it on and get it off easy and stress free not worrying about high spots because you waited too long.

Hello DIY!!!! Love the channel. I’m having a had time figuring out on picking the 3, 5, 8 year. Also I have zero choice when I pick the coating I want I am a DIY I have to do this outside don’t have a garage or canopy. I have a 2019 F150 paint is like glass and in excellent condition and doesn’t require any paint correction. When I do how many bottles do I need for my truck? I also have to coat a new Tesla white I haven’t had a chance to inspect the paint on wyet I already have the GS polish and incredible suds. Recommendation? Thank you

The number 1 complaint I see is people not being able to clear off the Ceramic coating because they failed to CLEAN - hand wash their vehicles then use a Clay Bar to remove all the containments imbedded in the clear
coat ! If the vehicle isn't clean don't use a Ceramic Coating.

How do I know that the 2nd layer of coating is genuinely bonding to the 1st layer….without partially or fully removing/disrupting/damaging that 1st layer?

Hello! Saw a video where you were going to ceramic coat a Tesla but didn’t polish as the paint was in decent condition as per the customer. My question is: I also have a Tesla and I worry about the paint quality so do I really need to polish before applying the ceramic coat? I have been using quick beads and ceramic gloss as drying agents when washing and have heard that is why a polish would be needed (to remove all previous sealants). Help!

I have a dull finish on my brand new car. So disappointed. I drove thru a rain storm within a few hours of applying. It was applied at the dealership . What can correct the dull finish?
