Fun fact, go to literally any Bethesda game, and it will have a simple start screen. Skyrim has almost just a black screen with white text.

The only time I’d say we should be upset at a game’s start screen is when it pulls bs like having ads for its in game store when it’s a single player game (looks at all of the latest Assassin’s Creed games…)

I used to play on a potato PC so having simple start screens were always a blessing. Some games just lagged so hard on start screens that it took me 10 minutes to get into the options and turn all the settings to lowest.

The start screen is fine. Never really got why the box in the right hand corner has to be there every time but I don't really care. I only look at it for a couple seconds.
