Here are my detailed instructions on how to assemble a Dewalt 7880 Scroll Saw Stand. After I unbox everything I start assembling the stand by flipping everything upside down. This is a well made stand and it is constructed entirely of metal for durability and features adjustable legs. You can purchase the stand on Amazon here is the link.

Thank you
I just got this stand and it had no instructions, this video was super helpful. Thank you for taking the time to do this instructional video.

Thanks just bought a brand new one off Craigslist for $60. Best thing it was assembled. Came to see how to attach the saw

Thanks for your detailed video. I'm having the same difficulty as installation instructions are crappy

Thank you so much for taking your time to do an assembly video. The directions were just a single sheet with an exploded diagram, less the necessary steps on HOW TO put it together 🤦🏻‍♂️
Your video was clear, concise, and to the point! Now...just have to learn how to use my DeWalt DW788 saw that goes with it 😉

I wonder if I can use this stand for my Harbor Freight scroll saw until I'm more experienced and get a Dewalt scroll saw.

So, the only way to tilt the front of the saw down a few degrees is to adjust the rear leg? It looks like the stand is too high for my seating position.

Is it possible to ask for the dimensions of those two posts in the front, as well as the piece for adjusting the stand? They were missing when my order arrived!

Are all the bolts the same size? I just picked up a stand but missing all the hardware. 5/16 x 1.5" carriage bolts is what I found. Is there other lengths?

Hi, I’m new to woodworking - would you say it’s best to get the the stand for this scroll saw or will it work fine on top of a workbench?

Thank you for the instruction, especially putting together upside down. Mine was not wrapped well, box was rough at delivery too.

This stand was a nightmare to put together but your video helped immensely! Mine came missing the adjustable leg though. :( Thank you for making the video!

Watched your video to help assemble my stand for my new scroll saw. And have gotten a few upgrades for it, but also wanna make it mobile. Any recommendations for a mobile base & how I would attach it to said base?

We just put our stand together and it is very wobbly! It does not feel safe to put the saw on, any suggestions for fixing this issue? Thank you, loved the video!

I just put mine together and was thinking about a way to make it mobile. Have you given any thought to adding wheels while still retaining the stability of a fixed base?

Arrived quickly. I was VERY busy during the fall. Finally, at Thanksgiving Break I had the time to unbox (from a badly damaged box that had been sealed with Amazon Prime Black Tape --the box was still sealed shut with the tape) and when I untapped the box, I discovered the right front leg was missing --clearly the box had been tapped shut WITHOUT the leg inside. Because it was outside the return window Amazon would do NOTHING, I contacted Dewalt Support. At least SIX emails and phone calls with me offering to buy the leg and pay shipping, Dewalt Support REFUSED to help me --part not available. I am now stuck with an unusable stand that I cannot return; cannot use; and cannot repair. Color my anger as EXTREME !!

I’m wondering if the metal frame is wobbly it looks wobbly when you’re assembling it and also after when you put the scroll Saul on top of it putting in the bolts it was shaky do you find it to be top-heavy or shaky or wobbly seems cheaply made? What do you think how is it

I finished assembling my stand today. It was my second one because the first one was delivered from FedEx missing the backplate, screw, and the adjustment leg. The box was barely together, and I caught a arm bar falling out of the box when he handed it to me.

I ordered my second stand from Home Depot, and it was packaged correctly. Your video was a lifesaver, and I assembled my stand upside down the entire time.

I do have a question...did you have an extra short and long bolt, two nuts, and washers left over? Thanks again

Great video, even with all the cuts/editing. Very helpful in putting together the stand.
