2020 Toyota Camry TRD 0-100 MPH Run

0-110 MPH run then 80-0 hard brake.
Temperature was 55 degrees outside.
Running Michelin Primacy MXM4 All season tires so grip isn't the best, always losing traction in 1st gear, planning on upgrading to Michelin Pilot Sport 4S Summer tires eventually.

Only mods are AEM Intake, Resonator delete, no tune yet. Running on 87 octane. Also planning on doing catless headers maybe next year.

Planning on doing a 1 year owners review soon. So far love the car!

Recorded using a Galaxy Note20 Ultra. Did my best to record using 1 hand, roads in my area arent great.

I like that they're still N/A with a normal automatic where everything else has gone Turbo/CVT. It makes it lag behind a tiny bit in it's class, but I bet it'll outlast mostly everything on the road.

Camrys have always been decent. To bad Toyota (across the board) are behind in new technology. My infiniti (nissan) however isn't that much ahead lol. 2019 and same keys and gearbox from my 11 g37 lol . However both Toyota and Nissan/Infiniti stick to if it ain't broken don't fix it policy and I'm kind of okay with that.

What sucks when drag racing this 8 speed transmission it shifts at 95 about 100 feet from the line i turned a 13.911 with a 0.011 reaction time at 100.67mph they claim in the specs ot runs a 14.2 at 98mph only thing i did was take out the spare tire and the tools a good 50 pounds o wonder if i have a factory fluke

How does transmission holds up? I heard many complaints that the car is jerking when coming to a stop

Honestly I wanted to get one but there slow. Look so nice but just doesn’t compete. Currently have a slow 2015 Honda accord v6 2dr, intake, exhaust, tune and I have beat trds with ease. Next car is Infiniti red sport, g70 3.3, stinger gt1/gt2. Time to graduate.

Is there a reason why you started in S1 and ended in S4? Instead of going to S8? I’m new to using sequential shifting on my Camry TRD.

Why your car rev to 7000 rpm ? I drove a xse and it shift on 6500

My 2014 3.5L non turbo taurus would absolutely embarrass the crap out of that. No hate.

sounds a lot like my taurus, just not quite as deep . i have a k&n cold air intake. I also run on e85 all of the time. on 87 fuel 0-60 is about 5.6-6. best time on e85 was a solid 4.8 seconds. that was while it was tuned. took my governor off with the tuner and put nitto’s on it, and it climbs right up to 155 than feels it’s weight can’t do anymore .
