Dear friends, we are all facing very difficult times, of course music will not stop the spread of the virus but I guess it will be our best ally to endure all the dramas around and look toward a better future. if this video brings you some joy and makes you smile, then my mission will be accomplished !
I hope you’ll enjoy this very famous tune, Misirlou, which is originally a folk song from the Eastern Mediterranean region, with origins in the Ottoman Empire. The original author of the folk song is not known, but it was known to Arabic, Greek and Jewish musicians by the 1920s. It gained worldwide popularity through Dick Dale's 1962 American surf rock version, originally titled "Miserlou", which popularized the song in Western popular culture; Dale's version was influenced by an earlier Arabic folk version played with an oud. Dale's surf rock version later gained renewed popularity when director Quentin Tarantino used it in his 1994 film Pulp Fiction, and again when it was sampled in the Black Eyed Peas' song "Pump It" (2006).

Oh boy, every Twoset-follower and classical music lover HAS to subscribe to your channel, too! You are my overall favourite musician (and the clarinet isn't even my favourite instrument; but that might change now). Very much looking forward to your coming videos. How about some Mozart quartets? KV 465? with some disoriented faces in the first dissonant, dodekaphonoid bars :-).

Dear friend, I bow before your skill. Please tell me such a fast and clear staccato, is it a double tongue or a single one?
Thank you! 👍🤝

If someone told me to listen to Misirlou on clarinet & French horn I would have laughed but that worked surprisingly well.

What clarinet, trees, mouthpiece, and ligature combination do use? I can't make my Tradition sound as good as it used to, let alone anywhere close to your tone quality
