Today on #CrackYourBible, we’re talking about how there is absolutely no contradiction between Genesis 10 & Genesis 11 and can easily be explained with the common literary device called “prolepsis” or “flash forward.”

While there will be instances where you may feel as if you’ve stumbled onto a contradiction in the Bible, through study you will come to the correct conclusion that there is no contradiction. Many of these supposed “proofs” of the Bible’s inaccuracy can usually be sorted out through a cultural study, a look back at the original source material, or study of prior books in the Bible. When it comes to the claim that Genesis 10 and 11 contradict, the claim is so absurd, one has to seriously consider if the person presenting this claim is a troll or just plain foolish.

Have you ever been confronted with such lazy, absurd "proof" that the Bible is untrue that you wonder if you're being trolled? Genesis 10 & 11 "controversy" has to be the silliest proof I've ever encountered.

There are 3 different creations of man talked about maybe more the Flood was but the last of several he used to wipe out man. Their Laws were not like ours. And those genealogies are in there to code messages not prove Messiah. Look up the first Genology in Genisis each name represents a part of a paragraph. But other than that spot on girl. I'm a four to five hour reader daily. I prefer the Hebrew and Greek over English. Funny ppl think Satan has fell yet it is to come. Job is the oldest book found. Due to different language, time and the definition of certain words being translated, people are gonna say some crazy things, not taking these issues into consideration. God inspired people to create the manual of life (bible). I fully believe what it says and ask God to open my eyes to that which I don’t. Do I believe man or God? Learn to read hebrew Torah original first five books Genesis to Deuteronomy. Then Tanakh the rest. The early church fathers also changed the hebrew bible.

I am Christian and believe the bible is God's word lovely lady, but there are contradictions in the KJV. God tempted Abraham, Genisis 22:1 - James 1:13.

Do you now see the wisdom of the Catholic Church, which didn't want the faithful to interpret the bible for themselves? cf. Acts 26-31
