Gap of Dunloe. A comprehensive review

Most will be driving to the Gap. You might hike it or bike ride it or even take a Horse and buggy, but where to park . It is possible to park anywhere along the side of the road Legally and safely. I suggest parking midpoint then walk the Gap. There are tours from Killarney that include boat, horse and bus service. We chose to drive to the Gap. We parked just before the 1st stone bridge and walked the Gap. It's about a 2.5hr round trip hike.

Very beautiful, but I wonder how the natives of the area handle the tourist coming and going, things like blocking paths maybe lack of respect for life of the natives there . Here in Hawaii it’s a major problem especially since many tourist decide to move here . I always dream to go there cause I am not only native Hawaiian ( kanaka maoli) but Irish
