Theos will not be alive (though some other characters from arcane may be, because curse users are unable to die from natural causes) because Magius takes place centuries later after Arcane Adventures. Technically Theos could live more than a bunch of centuries given his phoenix power and mutations, but ***SPOILERS***

The lore is that Theos dies after a long battle against Prometheus from blood loss, entrusting the player (you) to defeat Durza and his undead army. The player then fights Durza in the 7th sea after finding his home... In doing so, the player finds out Cursebeard was defeated by Durza (a testament to how powerful Durza is, because Cursebeard was stated by Theos himself to be stronger than Theos). Durza managed to revive Zeus, the god of lightning... after the player makes it past this part of the story, he finds the last of the greek gods still alive (Hades) and defeats him, finally bringing peace until eventually many years pass.

In the player's long battle against Durza, in a last ditch effort to scar the planet before his defeat, Durza turns himself into a giant ball of magic ready to detonate, and in doing so blew up the 4th, 5th, and 7th sea completely. The player (you), use the power of your mutation to single-handedly reshape the Earth. Skip to World of Magic many years later, and some islands are still ravaged from this event known as the "Cursebeard war." The story of Arcane Adventures goes unknown to the new generations of wizards, with the exception of a few characters from Arcane Adventures (curse users and powerful wizards) who still exist somewhere.
