John Spriggs has heard it a million times: “You’re a pro skier, must be nice.” What people don’t understand is the work, risk, pain, and reward that comes with dedicating one’s life to backcountry skiing. This one was a slap in the face kinda. I see some of these guys are not perfect like we normally see in TGR videos by showing several of them eat snow which we normally don't get to see and then we get the reality that some are not immortal.

RIP all you ski bums who have fallen way before your time.

Kirkwood is decent, liked Alpine when I was younger but Boreal was where we went as kids with the local discount and not far from Truckee. I have to say Mammoth has some impressive facilities and tech. Mountain features.
