My friend worked on a Woody Allen film back in 2011 and he said Woody had a complete melt down in front of the crew and cast because the sun was casting shadows in a shot (that Woody had set and lit himself) the only person that said something was KATHY BATES! She turned to the crew and cast to apologise for his temper tantrum and then turned to Woody and said “you’re gonna blame the crew because of the sun and the angle you set the camera at? Well, ain’t you one stupid f#&ker”?! Kathy sat down in Her chair and cracked open a can of doctor pepper and rolled her eyes. 😂😂😂😂my friend said it was the best thing he’s ever witnessed on set in his 25 years of working in film.

I'm a mechanical engineer in a third world country so naturally I'm one of the handful of female members in the whole establishment ( a small factory of roughly 150 workers) and I can tell you with certainty that men gossip much and are generally dramatic and act childish often, it was really unbelivable how emotional they really are when I just started working but they have so much emotion just like women, they just express it in a worse way ie; yelling and throwing stuff.

Also, anger is an emotion! Men (who say women are more emotional) often seem to forget that. We are educated to express ourselves differently. To express more, and look more sensitive, maybe.

I’ve been the head of a few camera departments on sets and I have to agree honestly female directors are much calmer and are usually better decision makers, men directors get stressed out and freak out much more frequently in my experience

OMG, I love this so much. Men can be dramatic, too. There’s nothing wrong with that (as long as it’s not abusive). So, let’s stop acting like it is just the women who are over dramatic.
