'Whatever they do, they won't break us down,' says Ukraine foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba

A barrage of Russian missile strikes on Monday has failed to dent Ukrainian morale, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba told France 24 on Monday evening. “I can assure you that whatever they do, they won’t break us down,” he said. Kuleba said the strikes specifically targeted Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and civilian targets. “This was an attack on the civilian population of Ukraine in retaliation to the success of the Ukrainian army on the battleground,” he said. Kuleba spoke to France 24 from Nairobi, Kenya, during part of a foreign tour to garner support in Africa starting with a vote scheduled this week at the UN General Assembly about the annexation of four regions in Ukraine by Russia.

There is something which the west should understand, unlike other countries where they sanction and interfere in hopes of a coup, in russia things do not function like that, there is always a sense of nationalism and majority are used to be patriotic and would rather face hardship than playing the west cards, the only way to end this war is negotiation, talks of change in leadership, coup and bla bla bla will never lead to anyting positive, putin is even better than the rest who are in line to take over after him

Russia air and artillery should not be given the satisfaction of firing into urban centres and civilian homes over the weekends or any other time. Strategic effort should be made to force their operations out of Ukraine.
