Worlds Largest Lesson - Emma Watson Introduction | Global Goals

Показать описание
Wouldn’t it be amazing if children across the world knew about The Global Goals and began to contribute to their achievement in whatever way they could?
This is the ambition of The World’s Largest Lesson.
It’s one great big opportunity to foster global citizenship in your school, support students learning across a range of subject areas such as science, geography, citizenship and technology and develop big ideas including human rights, poverty, and environmental issues.
Last year the Lesson was shared with millions of children, in over 25 languages, in 160 countries with the incredible support of Ministries of Education, education organisations, CSOs and individual teachers across the world joining together to make the Lesson a reality.
Who will you share the World's Largest Lesson with in 2016?
In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 Global Goals (officially known as the Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs). These goals have the power to create a better world by 2030, by ending poverty, fighting inequality and addressing the urgency of climate change. Guided by the Goals, it is now up to all of us, governments, businesses, civil society and the general public to work together to build a better future for everyone.
