MS word How to draw thick thin line

To draw a thick thin line within MS word:
1. click insert menu
2. chose line there and hold shift to draw a line
3. change the weight of the line first
4. Click the Shape Format tab, and then click the Quick Style you want for the line.
5. click format shape option.
6. under compound type drop down menu select thick thin type
